Pete Davidson Facing Possible Criminal Charges after Crashing Car into a House

 Comedian Pete Davidson might be facing possible criminal charges after crashing his car in a house.  TMZ reported that the Beverly Hills Police Department recently wrapped its investigation and sent the case over to the L.A. County District Attorney's Office to determine whether Pete will be charged for the crash. Prior to the conclusion of the investigation, drugs and alcohol were ruled out as factors in the mishap. However, it was gathered that Pete was traveling at a high rate of speed. He was driving with his girlfriend, Chase Sui Wonders, through Beverly Hills last month when he lost control of his Mercedes, drove through someone's yard and crashed into the side of their house. T he case is now headed to the District Attorney, which usually handles felony cases, but in Beverly Hills, the D.A. also can handle misdemeanor charges.

Don Lemon Fired from CNN Following Allegations he Mistreated Female Colleagues

  Don Lemon has been fired from his role as an anchor at CNN, he announced Monday, April 24. Lemon announced the news on Twitter, saying he was informed by his agent that he was being terminated.  Former NFL quarterback and civil rights activist Colin Kaepernick is paying for the autopsy of a man who died in an Atlanta jail under mysterious circumstances, TMZ reports. After Kaepernick heard about the death of 35-year-old LaShawn Thompson—who was found dead in his Fulton County Jail cell in September last year—he contacted the family’s attorney Ben Crump to help fund an independent autopsy. The official autopsy conducted by authorities came back “undetermined,” though his family believes that the “filthy” conditions at the jail contributed to his currently unexplained death. Thompson was arrested in 2022 in connection with a misdemeanor simple battery case. Kaepernick was reportedly shocked by the conditions Thompson was being held in. U.S. Facebook Users With Active Accounts Between 2007 and 2022 Can Claim Share of Historic $725 Million Settlement

  After Facebook’s parent company Meta agreed to pay $725 million to settle its high-profile privacy lawsuit last year, users with active accounts between select dates can now claim their share. A website has been launched to help users with active accounts between May 2007 and December 2022 enter a claim to receive their share of the settlement. Individual payment amounts have yet to be established because it’s dependent on how many users submit claims and how long their respective accounts were active, but the users will have until August 25 to enter their claim. To make a claim via the Facebook User Privacy Settlement website, users will need to provide their name, address, email address, and status as a U.S. citizen between the active dates. Anyone in the U.S. who has had a Facebook account at any time since May 24, 2007, can now apply for their share of a $725 million privacy settlement that parent company Meta has agreed to pay. British Serial Killer Levi Bellfield Allegedly Confesses to Murdering Missing Student

 Levi Bellfield, a serial killer who is currently serving two whole-life sentences for murdering three people including Marsha McDonnell, 19, French student Amelie Delagrange, 22, and Milly Dowler, 13, has reportedly confessed to killing a 19-year-old student. At the time of Bellfield's conviction for Milly’s murder in June 2011, detectives said they believed he may have been responsible for 20 unsolved attacks on women. He has now written a signed confession to killing Elizabeth Chau, a 19-year-old law and ­business student who disappeared in April 1999. Police Arrest Married Inspector Who Shot and Killed his Girlfriend in Ghana

  The Ghana Police Service has arrested an Inspector identified as Ahmed Twumasi over alleged murder of his girlfriend, Victoria Daapa, popularly known as Maa Adwoa. Twumasi, who is married with children, allegedly shot the 27-year-old mother of one at close range on Thursday 20th April 2023, at Adum in front of Dufie Towers in the Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi. The woman was rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival. The police, in a press release on Sunday evening, April 23, 2023, stated that the suspect was arrested at his hideout at Sekyere near Effiduase in the Ashanti Region. Nurse Found Dead After Attempting to Perform Liposuction on Herself

 A 30-year-old nurse who allegedly attempted to perform liposuction on herself has died. According to New York Post, the nurse was reportedly found unconscious in a doctor’s office after she performed lipo on her stomach. Dr. Rolando Samper Mendoza, the owner of Clinica Amper in Mexico, said she gave herself anesthesia to perform the procedure, for which she had no training. She died of cardiorespiratory arrest shortly after she was found by a co-worker, who alerted paramedics and attempted to revive her.  Dr. Samper said the woman, who was only identified as Carina, tried to perform the procedure “without [his] authorization or permission.” He added, “One of my nurses named Carina…decided on her own to perform abdominal liposuction with [a] local anesthetic.
