Kevin Gates Becomes a Meme After Wild Stage Jump Photo

Kevin Gates shared a post on Instagram showing off his hops, posting a picture of himself mid-air in an impressive stage jump.

“Oh Ye who Believe – Gifted – dive in the crowd no safety harness,” Gates captioned the photo on IG. On Twitter, he shared it and wrote, “Oh Ye who Believe – behold.”

It didn’t take long for the pic to become a meme, as fans inserted Gates into various settings, including the iconic scene in The Lion King where Rafiki holds up baby Simba to the rest of the kingdom.

The photo, in which the 35-year-old rapper appears to be in great physical shape, arrives just six months after he was involved in a serious car crash. Back in March, a woman driving a Prius ran a red light and smashed into Kevin’s Lambo truck. The impact was severe enough to force Gates’ truck to spin out of control before stopping nearly 100 feet from the initial impact.

Fortunately, neither Gates nor the women were injured during the accident.
